Dr. Andree Beckerling strengthens company management of Accovion in Medical Services

Eschborn, 8 August, 2011 – Accovion GmbH, a full-service provider of clinical development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, is further expanding its clinical strength. On 1 June 2011, Dr. Andree Beckerling was appointed Senior Medical Director taking over the management of all clinical departments within Accovion. Dr. Beckerling will also serve as a member of Accovion’s management team supporting Martin Schröder (CEO), Ivana Waller (COO), Dusan Kosijer (CFO), Regina Freunscht (Director of Marketing and Communication) and Helmut Sayn (Senior Director of Data Management, Statistics and Reporting).

After completing his medical studies at the University of Bochum, Dr. Beckerling worked in the field of clinical pediatrics, before moving into clinical development. In the past 13 years, he gained extensive experience in the international development of drugs and medical devices.
