Accovion announces changes in higher management
Accovion regrets to announce that Dr. Kurt Löffler has resigned from his position as Managing Director for health reasons. His expert knowledge and wide experience of all aspects of drug development will fortunately be retained within the company and for its clients as Dr. Löffler will be occupying the new post of Chief Statistical Officer.
Dr. Löffler is a founder member of Accovion and a partner in the firm. Over the past eight years, he has played a key role in developing and positioning the company’s business, with special responsibility for the areas of Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Data Management and IT.
Accovion expresses its sincerest thanks to Dr. Löffler for his great achievements and his invaluable support during this period. Martin Schröder, Accovion’s Chief Executive Officer, comments: “We continue successfully to implement the company’s business strategy, thereby increasing our international market share of high quality clinical development services, while seizing new opportunities afforded by the growing market for our services in the medical device field”.
